The Plea Chapter Forty-One Roach, Missouri

PrisonLight

There is no Loch Ness monster. Using sonar equipment, submersible vessels, and a host of other tools scientist have proven there is no Loch Ness monster. Yet in 2015 alone more than twenty people claimed to have seen such a creature. People convince themselves of things that aren’t true all the time. Sometimes the things people convince themselves of are harmless and other times the price for believing what isn’t real costs lives.

False allegation of child molestation costs lives. My brother will be taken away over and over again for the rest of my life. That grief is forever.

More than a year ago my brother was sent a letter from his daughter and she told him she wanted nothing to do with him ever again. I am surprised that she reads The Plea because her statement was absolute and particularly hurtful. As a private investigator I have certain tracking devices on my computer and I can see who reads The Plea and when. Not only did she recently visit the site, but contacts were made subsequent to that to the Department of Veteran Affairs in Texas. The Department then visited the site to read The Plea. According to the people at the Department of Veteran Affairs a judge from the Houston area was asked to find out what funds my brother’s adult children and ex-wife could get from his death benefits. My brother’s ex-wife’s aunt is the judge in Houston the Department was referring.

For those who doubt the veracity of the information I’ve attached the trail I followed.

It’s action such as those stated above that further convince me that my brother was falsely accused. A man’s life was taken for money. The pursuit to cash in on the demise of another human being isn’t going to get them far in this instance. They are entitled to nothing. A court case will make sure they get nothing and their shameful actions will be made public.

Maybe so much time has past since Rick has been gone they imagine he wasn’t a human being, that he wasn’t someone’s brother, uncle, or son.

You never stop missing someone special. You just learn to live around a huge gaping hole of the absence.

You certainly can never forget that a once vital, funny man ended up looking like this.
