He would have been fifty-three tomorrow.  He was murdered by people that work at Liberty Hospital and TallGrass Technologies.

Remembering a Vet.  He served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm.  Murdered by his ex-wife and her daughter.

1887 – Doc Holliday, at the age of 35, dies of tuberculosis in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

1877 – Bat Masterson is elected sheriff of Ford County, Kansas.

1879 – Humorist Will Rogers is born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma.

A fire in Sacramento, California, destroys 75 percent of the city – 2,500 buildings.

1863-Future outlaw, Tom “Black Jack” Ketchum is born in San Saba County, Texas.

1881 – The “Gunfight at the OK Corral” took place in Tombstone, AZ. The fight was between Wyatt Earp, his two brothers and Doc Holiday and the Ike Clanton Gang.

1989 – Reverend Jim Bakker was sentenced to 45 years in prison and fined $500,000 for his conviction on 24 counts of fraud. In 1991, his sentence was reduced to eighteen years and he was released on parole after a total five years in prison.

1836 – Sam Houston becomes the first President of Texas.
